Hayes Hygiene was established in 1989 by Tony Driscoll. Originally from Cardiff and a typical Welsh rugby player, Tony travelled up the M4 and soon realised that there was a huge gap in the hygiene and paper disposables market for a no nonsense, reliable and value for money supplier. Originally operating from a single lockup garage and a spare bedroom with an aged Volkswagen van, we now have our own 10,000sq ft distribution facility and a fleet of over 20 delivery vehicles, together with a team of 30.
How did we do it? Simple really, we do what we say we will and nothing is too much trouble. Ever! That will never change at Hayes. It’s what we are. The washroom services division was born out of being asked constantly ‘can you recommended a reliable company?’ We knew the answer, let’s start our own. That was 25 years ago and it’s still growing. We work as a team, supply quality paper and chemicals and are always available to offer friendly advice and the benefit of our experience. Nothing has really changed in over 30 years, apart from the internet, online ordering and stock control, satellite tracking, and Tony’s grey hair!
